Monetary Help

Finance is the major hurdle. With this come, impediment of establishing infrastructure to attune the work with desired mission. So far the activities of the Ashram survives on the staggered donations of benevolent people and others. No major sustained flow of income remains for which no project could be visualized.

In fact, there was no inspired donor initially. Shri Biswas, the present Secretary, donated the savings of his entire life for establishing the ashram. Rest of the donors is occasional donors and no fixed donors remain so far.

Title : One or two Desktops with Internet
Total Expense : Rs. 20,000 to Rs, 25,000 per machine; Internet – Rs. 800 p.m.
Title : Kids in SRKS are 1st generation learners and need more attention. Finding able tutors in this distant rural area is pain. Through internet classes will be held. Each class size should not be more than 6 to 8 kids. Each class would be of 1 hour each. SRKS have figured out few teachers already.
Benefits : Better concepts resulting in brighter kids. Senior students surf internet & read news. Once this scales up and standardize, we can make this available to outside poor kids from the nearby village and charge a small fee for the classes to them. After a year turn it to a rural computer center.
